Beta 9+ is mostly a bugfix release. File hashes DB format has completely changed but that doesn't mean you will need to reupload anything, cause now S3 Backup has some super-good logic for determining what's new and what's not, even if your computer crashes in the middle of backup next time you run it, the app will continue without any redundant uploads. The best part about it is that S3 Backup automatically detects if it should work in repair mode (like after a crash) or not and it doesn't slow the normal operation at all. It takes a lot of tricks to make this happen but it is completely transparent to the user.

However there seems to be another bug that I myself don't see, it looks like for some users all uploads become zero-sized files, I'm still hunting for this one, so if you see this behavior, please let me know. Thanks.

Update: the aforementioned bug is reported to be gone in the current version. If you still see it, make sure you run the latest Beta 9+ and if you do -- let me know, thanks.
