RSSS3 Backup Licensing
Every license is a non-expiring, reusable permission to use the app on a certain computer. If you upgrade a computer, you can transfer the license to the new one without paying anything extra.
You can use S3 Backup with a trial license for 60 days, but even after the purchase we provide additional 30 days of money-back guarantee.
The licenses are managed through your online account which also helps you see what machines are running what versions, if they have correct licenses assigned and in the future will provide backup reports for all of your computers in one place (but only if you choose to do so, see our privacy policy for details).
S3 Backup is always being improved and you will get access to all the upgrades within a product line for free. You are making this work possible and we will take all your requests into consideration.

Personal use license
This license is good for using S3 Backup on a personal computer. If you run a regular consumer Operating System like Windows XP or Windows 7, this should be your choice.
Server-lite license
If you are using S3 Backup to back up a server, once the trial expires, you will need a “server-lite” license. We expect to provide a number of additional services for server-lite licensees in the future.
If you will decide to upgrade to full server edition at a later time (see below), a server-lite license will provide you with an upgrade discount.
Full server edition
Along with server-lite licensing we are also working on a dedicated server product. We are not ready to announce specific details publicly yet, but let us know if you’re interested and we’ll give you a summary of what we have so far.

Reseller edition
White-label solution with detailed reporting, quotas and integration with your own billing.
